The Duke Colloquium Intellectual Curiosity and the Professional Life

The Duke Colloquium (TDC) is a new initiative under the Provost aimed at inspiring students and faculty to think in a more global and multidisciplinary way about the practice of their professions. Events will be held two to three times annually, involving internationally recognized visiting scholars, students, faculty, alumni, and community professionals. TDC events will include multidisciplinary

workshops and conversations with the visiting scholars, culminating in a campus-wide auditorium-setting interview of the visiting scholar by a student panel on a topic to be determined in collaboration between the student panel and the visiting scholar.
