The District will hold an important Public Hearing to consider and decide upon adopting proposed water rates. This hearing will be held concurrently with the District's regular board meeting. Please visit our link to see the agenda and related materials.

Time: 5:30 p.m.
Location: Durham Irrigation District at 9341 Midway, Unit B, Durham CA 95938

At the conclusion of the public hearing portion of the meeting, the Board shall review and tabulate written protests regarding the proposed water rates.

Protest ballots may be delivered in person at the start of the meeting - please see the Prop 218 Notice and Objection document at the link below for more specific information and for the required form.

Proposition 218 Public Hearing to Consider Administrative Objections

The District will hold a Public Hearing to consider timely submitted Administrative Objections and Findings and to determine whether the scheduled Protest Hearing will go forward.

At the conclusion of this hearing, the Board shall determine whether to proceed with the Proposition 218 Protest Hearing for the proposed rate increase.

Item 12.5 - Request for Proposal – Legal Services – proposals due by September 11, 2025.

The District is now in the process of conducting a rate increase under the Proposition 218 rate change process which will set rate increases from 2025 through 2030. Formal Proposition 218 notices were mailed out to District customers this week.
