This afternoon, Eno’s Battalion Chief happened upon a working commercial vehicle fire on I-85. Eno crews responded and made a quick knockdown, with assistance from DFD crews who also responded. We are always grateful for a job well done with our Mutual Aid partners.

This morning, Eno personnel responded to assist Lebanon Fire Department at a working structure fire. While operating, members removed a cat to be reunited with the homeowner.

We are proud to support our partner agencies in Orange and Durham counties.

Last night, Eno members trained on use of the Turbodraft. This piece of equipment is extremely useful for rural water supply, allowing us to pull water from sources that may be too shallow or too far from vehicle access for traditional drafting techniques.

The fire is out; Duke crews remain on scene and the road will be closed until tomorrow morning. Please watch out for utility workers.
