Dwight EMS responded to 166 calls during August 2026, averaging 5.4 calls per day. Our ambulances were committed to calls for a combined 156 hours, and 89 responses resulted in medical transports.

Additional August statistics:

• 25 mutual-aid responses
• 18.7% of calls occurred outside the Village of Dwight
• 96 calls occurred between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
• 70 calls occurred between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.
• Call volume increased 5.7% compared with August 2025
• 1,117 yearly total responses recorded through August 2026

🚑 July 2026 Response Snapshot 🚑

July was another busy month for Dwight EMS. Our crews responded to 166 calls for service a 37% increase over June and nearly 18% more than July 2025.

📊 July highlights:

• 952 total responses so far in 2026
• 152 ambulance hours committed
• 110 daytime responses and 56 overnight responses
• 72 medical calls requiring transport
• 31 medical calls not requiring transport
• 11 motor vehicle crashes requiring transport
• 39 mutual-aid activities
• 2 Code Stroke and 2 Code STEMI responses

Every number represents someone who needed help. We are proud of our EMTs and paramedics for their continued dedication and grateful to our neighboring departments and community partners for their support.

Dwight EMS remains ready to serve our community 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

**Starting salary:** $43,128–$46,468
