8/7/2026- Ordinance Violation warnings were issued in the 400 block S Clinton, 100 block W Chippewa, and 400 block W South.

8/7/2026- Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop at the intersection of Mazon and Washington. The driver, Adam Jurkowski of Dwight, was cited for Driving on Suspended License.

8/8/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop on Route 17 near John Deere. Cited was the driver, Mario Martinez of Kankakee, for Driving on Suspended License and Speeding.

8/9/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop on Route 17 near Pharmacann. The driver, Landen Henshaw of Bourbonnais, was Cited for Speeding.

8/10/2026- Dwight Units were out with a vehicle in the 200 block of S Prairie. James Beier of Dwight was Cited for Operating a Motor vehicle with No Valid Drivers License.

8/11/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop at the intersection of Union and Northbrook. The driver, Daniel Saucedo of Chicago, was Cited for Driving on Suspended License.

8/11/2026- Ordinance Violation warnings were issued in the 300 block W Waupansie, and two in the 200 block E North.

8/12/2026-Oridnance Violation warnings were issued in the 300 block E Prospect and 200 block Renfrew.

What an incredible National Night Out!

On behalf of the Dwight Police Department, thank you, Dwight! We are so grateful to everyone who came out to spend the evening with us. Seeing our community come together for a night of fun, laughter, and building relationships is what National Night Out is all about.

8/2/2026- Dwight Units went out with a Vehicle on Northbrook dr. The Driver of the vehicle, Edward Marcin of Pontiac, was cited for Driving while License Revoked.

8/3/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop in the 100 block of W Mazon Ave. The driver, Eddy Vasquez-Quintanilla of Missouri, was cited for No Valid Drivers License. Passenger, Anuar Cardona-Rodriguez of Minnesota, was Cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Passenger, Christian Maldonado of Missouri, was also Cited for Illegal Transportation of Alcohol.

7/23/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop at the intersection of Prairie and Mazon. Cited was the driver, Sylvia Romero of Dwight, for No Valid Registration.

7/25/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop at the intersection of Mazon and Union. The driver, David Manchen of Bourbonnais, was Cited for Disobeying a Traffic Control Device.

7/25/2026-Dwight Units were made aware of a subject with a warrant possibly at an address on Jennings st. Once on scene, Officers arrested Brandi Burrell of Peoria for having a Warrant.

7/27/2026-Dwight Units conducted a Traffic Stop on Route 17 near John Deere. The driver, Luke Zardzin of Mount Prospect, was Cited for Speeding.

7/28/2026-Dwight Units were requested to Northbrook Dr for a needing to be removed from the property for loitering. Devante Scales of Chicago was arrested for criminal trespassing, Resisting or Obstructing a Peace Officer, and Obstructing Identification.

PARKING LOT CLOSURE NOTICE

To help prepare for National Night Out, the E. Main Street parking lots will be closed beginning at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 3rd and will remain closed until the event concludes on Tuesday, August 4th.

Please make alternate parking arrangements if you normally use these lots. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we get everything ready for a fun and safe evening for our community!
