**UPDATE** The chipper truck is up and running!

The truck used to pull our wood chipper is currently down and our local shop is working to get it back up and running as soon as possible.

We understand there is a significant amount of storm debris throughout the Village, and our crew will be on it as soon as we are able. We appreciate your patience!

We all loved welcoming the Big Boy to Dwight! Since its visit, we've been receiving quite a few inquiries about the Dwight Area Chamber of Commerce wooden nickels that were available during the event.

What an amazing day for the Village of Dwight!

We were honored to welcome Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 and an estimated 10,000 visitors to our community for this unforgettable whistle stop.

A heartfelt thank you to Union Pacific for making Dwight part of this historic journey.

Thank you to our Village staff, Police Department, Public Works, Dwight EMS, Dwight Fire Protection District, Dwight Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Dwight Historical Society, our local businesses, and our neighboring communities and partner agencies for helping make today a success. This truly was a team effort.
