Around Town: Public Works Resident Dumpster Access

Did you know that Dyer residents have access to dumpsters at the Public Works facility year-round?

Located at 516 Edmond Drive, the Public Works Department provides residents with a convenient option for disposing of household waste. Residents can also utilize the designated electronics recycling pallet for electronic items.

In addition, Republic Services will collect one large item each week on your regularly scheduled garbage day, providing another convenient disposal option for residents.

Public Works is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Proof of Dyer residency is required.

Located behind Town Hall at 222 Schulte Street, the splash pad features interactive water sprays and is a favorite summertime destination for local families.

Open daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM during the summer season, the splash pad offers a refreshing way for children to stay active and enjoy the outdoors. As a Town amenity, there is no admission fee to use the splash pad.

Whether you're planning a family outing, meeting friends at the park, or simply looking for a way to stay cool on a warm day, Elmer Miller Park is a great place to spend a summer afternoon.
