The storms that came through our area yesterday have left some of our neighbors without power, and we know how quickly homes can become uncomfortable when the air conditioning is not working.

The City of Dyer is opening the community building for anyone who is without power and needs a cool, air-conditioned place to spend some time. If your home is getting too warm, please know that you are welcome to come in, cool off, and be comfortable while power is being restored.

We also ask everyone to take a moment to check on your neighbors, friends, family members, and especially those who may have a harder time dealing with the heat. Sometimes simply making sure someone knows there is a cool place available can make a big difference.

Please share this post and help us spread the word. We want to make sure everyone in our community who may need this space knows that it is available.

Water leak repair has been fixed, and water has been restored. If you experience any water discoloration, run water on cold for 10-15 minutes throughout your home to help flush your lines!
We appreciate your patience!

Water will be out for the following areas until leak repaired. Red hill road, Old Simmons road, Heard branch, Rosella's way and Porter Place. Please be patient while the leak is repaired. We will complete this as quickly as possible. In the meantime time run water for consumption or use while we are repairing. We apologize for the inconvenience.

TONIGHT is the NIGHT!!!
Starting at 6pm fireworks kick off at 8:30pm
Special announcement at 8pm
Glow sticks, foam sticks, fiber optic glow sticks, & tattoos in front of the community building! Proceeds go to the up keep of our city park!
District 7 has brought out their fire truck for the kids to play in the water!!
Ridgeline church brought out bounce houses!
Bring the family out for some fun!!!!!!!

Ridgeline Church Dyer, will have bounce houses set up from 6pm-8pm. Free and open to the public! Come let the kids bounce & enjoy some popsicles!
