Gibson County High School's first students enrolled in August 1980, after the consolidation of high schools in the Dyer, Gibson, Medina, Rutherford, Spring Hill, and Yorkville communities. Gibson County High School students enjoy a diverse and varied curriculum that is a part of the school's quality and comprehensive course offerings. Students are encouraged to develop their own individual interes

It is the intent of the faculty and staff that each student who leaves our school be prepared to enter the workforce or to continue their education at a college, university, or vocational center. We are beyond thrilled to announce that Jack Ball has been named one of only five recipients of the coveted Archer Presidential Scholarship from Belmont University! 🏛️✨

This prestigious award is Belmont’s highest academic honor, covering full tuition, room, board, books, and fees. It is a testament to Jack’s hard work, leadership, and dedication during his time here at Gibson County High School.

This month, we’re excited to highlight what CTE is all about and celebrate the incredible people who make it happen.

First up — our CTE Directors, Mr. Kevin Turner and Mrs. Emily Pitt! 🙌
They work together to keep our CTE Department running smoothly and provide invaluable support to our CTE teachers, helping ensure students get meaningful, hands-on learning experiences that prepare them for future success.
