As 2025 draws to a close, the holidays remind us of the power of coming together - and your commitment to our community makes a meaningful difference everyday.
Our thoughts turn gratefully to those who have made the Nathan C. Splant Foundation possible. As we have continued to enhance the lives of those affected by a premature birth with our Grant Giving Program, Riding for Babies, Helping Hands for Preemies Campaign, Scholarship Program, Swing it Forward - Golf Outing and the Blessings for Babies.
We continue to support our local community:
• Community Hospitals NICU - Sanitization Bay for the parents/nurses and staff that provides disinfection in an automated manner, to help stop the spread of germs in the NICU.
• Franciscan Health's Crown Point NICU Wishlist.
• Provided boxed lunches to the NICU Doctors, Nurses and staff at Community Hospital for Prematurity Awareness Day.
• Awarded 3 Scholarships totaling $3,500 at Hanover Central High School's Senior Awards Night.
• The Foundation has donated/granted over $10,000 to local families affected by a premature birth through our Grant Giving Program.
It is a privilege serving our local community in so many different ways. We want to express our gratitude and recognize the hard work and dedication of our corporate and individual donors including our growing circle of support. And special thanks to all our volunteers as well as those continuously and selflessly supporting the Foundation.
We are grateful to those who have and continue to make the Nathan C. Splant Foundation possible. On behalf of our Board, staff, and the neighbors we serve, thank you for being part of The Nathan C. Winter Wonderland Tree Contest and customer appreciation at Hunleys Bar tomorrow Dec 19th @ 6pm! There is a few trees left, if you would like to make a $75 donation!

Come and join us for the Winter Wonderland festivities Saturday, November 22 @ Hunleys Bar! Bulls and Blackhawks tickets have been donated! There will also be a 50 50, and drink specials. If you get there early, you can enjoy the Cedar Lake Festival of Lights from the patio deck!! MUST BE 21.
