The ladies visiting New Life Church of Dyersburg!

There is something so beautiful about watching the ladies of Transitions walk through the doors of different churches and experience the love of God’s people.

We are so blessed and thankful for every church that opens its doors and welcomes our ladies with open arms. Each visit gives them an opportunity to worship, fellowship, and hear the Word of God!

For some of our ladies, this may be the first time they have ever felt truly welcomed into a church family. What may seem like a simple invitation to us can be a life-changing moment for someone who is learning that she is loved, valued, and never forgotten by God.

We are incredibly grateful for every pastor, church family, and ministry that pours into these women and reminds them that they have a place in God’s house.

Thank you for helping our ladies grow in faith, find community, and discover what it means to belong. We are truly blessed! 💕

Today we celebrate a powerful step forward as one of our ladies completes her Celebrate Recovery class and receives her certificate!

We are so proud of you! Keep pressing forward, keep trusting God, and remember—this is not the finish line. It’s another step toward the woman God created you to be!

Family time means so much to the ladies at Transitions. For many of them, having the opportunity to laugh, hug, and simply be together with the people they love is something they once took for granted.

These moments are more than just visits—they are memories being restored, relationships being rebuilt, and hope being renewed. We thank God for every precious moment our ladies get to spend with their families.

Today we want to take a moment to say thank you to Lisa for taking time out of her day to come teach our ladies how to cook—not only delicious meals, but healthy meals—it is so much more than teaching a recipe. You are teaching life skills, confidence, independence, and how to care for the bodies God has given us.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” Colossians 3:23

Your willingness to serve may seem like a simple act, but God can use every lesson, every meal, and every moment spent with these ladies to plant seeds.

Thank you for pouring into our ladies, believing in them, and being willing to share what God has given you. Your time is appreciated, your heart is noticed, and your service is a blessing!

Congratulations Laquisha on completion of Celebrate Recovery book.

Those pages represent so much more than questions answered and lessons completed. They represent courage, honesty, tears, surrender, forgiveness, and a willingness to let God into the places that once felt too painful to face.

She didn’t just write about her hurts—she faced them.
She didn’t just acknowledge her struggles—she surrendered them.
She didn’t just look at her past—she allowed God to begin redeeming it.

Every page was another step toward freedom. Every hard truth was another chain losing its grip. Every prayer was another reminder that God was not finished with her.

💜 NATIONAL RECOVERY MONTH 2026 💜

September — A Month of Hope, Healing & Restoration

September is National Recovery Month, and here at our faith-based ministry, we celebrate something bigger than recovery—we celebrate RESTORATION!

We celebrate the woman who finally found the courage to say, “I need help.”
We celebrate the woman who walked through our doors broken, hurting, ashamed, angry, and lost—but decided she wasn't going to stay that way.
We celebrate the woman who thought her past had disqualified her, only to discover that God was preparing to use her past as part of her testimony.
We celebrate the mothers rebuilding relationships with their children.

The daughters learning to love themselves again.
The women discovering their identity beyond addiction.The graduates stepping into careers, families, ministry, and dreams they once thought were impossible.

And we remember those who never got the opportunity to experience freedom. Their lives mattered. Their stories mattered. Their families matter. We remember them, and we keep fighting for those who are still struggling.
Because recovery isn't just about putting down a substance.
It's about picking up your life.

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day 💜

Today, we pause and remember.
We remember the sons and daughters, mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters, husbands and wives, friends, and loved ones whose lives were taken by overdose.

We remember the empty chairs, the unanswered phone calls, the birthdays that became harder to celebrate, and the lives that should have had so many more chapters.

Behind every statistic was a person. Someone who was loved. Someone who mattered. Someone whose life had value.

Today is not about judgment. It is about remembrance. It is about compassion. It is about recognizing the heartbreak addiction leaves behind and reminding those who are still struggling that their story is not over.

To every family grieving someone they lost—your loved one will never be forgotten. Their name, their smile, their memories, and the love they left behind matter.

And to those still battling addiction: please don't give up. There is still hope. There is still purpose. There is still a tomorrow. Your life is worth fighting for.

Today, we remember those we couldn't save.
We stand beside those who are still fighting.
And we pray for the families who carry the weight of loss every single day.
May we never forget, never stop reaching, never stop believing that one more life can be saved.
