We are excited to announce an opportunity to visit and learn from three agritourism operations. The second Exploring Agritourism for Your Farm: On-farm Insights will take place on September 17, 2026, from 8 am to 6 pm CDT. This tour will involve three stops in Kentucky that will give insight into several aspects of agritourism, including value-added product marketing, on-farm retail, farm tours, special events and food service.

• Chaney’s Dairy Barn
• Jackson’s Orchard

Participants will meet a bus in Cross Plains, TN (Sumner County). We will travel together to network and learn along the way with educational presentations and facilitated discussions.

Registration is $45 per person. Scholarships available for dairy producers. Lunch and ice cream will be provided. Registration is required for this event and space is limited!

This event will fulfill one Tennessee Agricultural Enhancement Program (TAEP) Producer Diversification educational requirement for the following Producer Diversification sectors: Agritourism, Fruits and Vegetables, and Value-Added.

Maybe you are new to Tennessee or you've just arrived at a point in your life where you are ready to tackle a farming operating! This educational webinar series can help you learn how to make a profit from your land.

Tennessee landowners interested in learning more about generating farm income on property they already own or live on are encouraged to attend any of the five upcoming educational webinars from CPA to be held via Zoom beginning in September. The Farming Where You Live webinars will cover a variety of educational topics relevant to Tennessee landowners. The program especially targets small-acreage landowners, beginning farmers, and timber or forest landowners in Tennessee. However, all interested individuals are encouraged to attend.

Knowing that many of our Tennessee landowners are seeking opportunities to generate farm income on property they already own, the purpose of this webinar series is to provide free educational sessions that will help generate new insight or ideas into utilizing existing farm or forest land to its fullest potential.

Sessions are free to attend, but preregistration is required. Interested individuals may register for the Farming Where You Live webinar series online at tiny.utk.edu/FWYL. Note that a valid email address is required to register for the program.

Livestock Judging is about so much more than just knowing your animals! It's a chance for 4-H'ers to sharpen their observation skills, learn to make decisions, practice public speaking, and gain confidence.

Whether you have been around livestock your whole life or you're completely new to judging, there's a place for you on our team!

It is time to reserve your cages for the 4-H Chick Chain, Open Poultry Show, and Rabbit exhibits. Please call 731-286-7821 to reserve cages. We will need the name of exhibitor, number of cages for pairs of birds or single entry rabbits, breed name of birds or rabbits, and a phone number.
