Courthouse hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
All offices will be closed to the Public. We ask that you
conduct all business by Phone. If you have paperwork
for filing, we are asking that papers be left with the
security guard, the pertinent office will pick up, process
and return to the security for your pickup. These
procedures will be followed until further notice.

Accounts Director: Requests all invoices be emailed ([email protected]), scanned or faxed (286-7810) for processing

County Clerk: Requests that everyone use the drive thru or renew your tags at tncountyclerk.com. These procedures will be used until further notice.

Election Commission: Doors locked to public. You still have until noon, April 2, 2020, to file your qualifying petitions for the August 6, 2020 election. You may register to vote a govotetn.com. Inquiries can be answered by phone (731-286-4268) or email [email protected]

Juvenile Office: Closed to Public. Probation officers will not be seeing juveniles in person for probation appointments but will contact them by phone for necessary business. In the event it becomes necessary to contact their probation officer, juveniles & parents can call 731-286-7827 or 731-503-0118. In the event of an emergency please call 911 or local law enforcement agency having jurisdiction. Parents are asked not to bring their child to the office if they or their child has been sick or exposed to anyone who has been ill.

Trustee: Lobby closed to public. 2018-2019 taxes can be paid by the following options: Dropbox located on the sidewalk in front of the office. (if you do not know the exact amount including interest call the office 731-286-7802. Mail Payment to PO Box 1360, Dyersburg, TN 38025, Slide your payment under the door or On-line payments at www.tntrustee.com, phone payments are accepted at 877-768-5048 (you may call the office to obtain your Rec # if you do not have it for easy phone payment.) Staff will be available by phone to assist you verifying amounts due or any other questions.

Commodity Foods: Commodities will be delivered to your vehicle.

Sheriff: Any business that can be handled by phone please do so. Calls for service will be screened by staff to limit public contact. Deputies & Staff will screen calls for service to limit citizen contact in non-emergency situations. Those entering the facility may be required to conduct business by the lobby phone if possible. Anyone entering the facility will require screening of temp/travel/covid-19 contact. On-site inmate visitation cancelled until further notice. To maintain contact with family members during this time a free weekly video visitation is offered to each inmate.

RSVP: Will continue to deliver Meals on Wheels the county route and provide transportation for seniors to doctors appointments. (731-286-7829)

Dyer County Highway Dept.: Will continue to work four 10 hr days. Mon-Thurs. 6 am. to 4:30 pm. Front office will be closed to walk-in traffic until further notice. Ph. 7310286-7838

I want to say a big THANK YOU to Mayor Richard Hill for the wonderful Veteran's Day celebration we had in Dyer County. He always works so hard to honor our Veterans! The parade was great and the food and fellowship that followed at the Armory was even better! Mayor Chris Young

I'd like to invite everyone to the Veteran's Day Parade today. The event will be held on the east side of the courthouse beginning with the opening ceremonies at 10:30 and the parade at 11:00. Please come and show your support for our Veterans who have done so much for us!
