MercyOne Dyersville Medical Center is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist to join their team. This role provides direct patient care across all age groups in a mission-driven, community-focused hospital setting.

What You’ll Do:
• Plan and administer physical therapy services
• Work with patients from infants to geriatrics
• Support wellness and recovery in our local community

Requirements:
• Iowa PT licensure (or eligibility)
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program

🏭 Manufacturing Day in Dyersville was a success!
Today, local high school students toured multiple manufacturing facilities in our community, heard directly from industry leaders, and got a firsthand look at the careers available right here in Dyersville. From engineering to production to skilled trades — students saw real pathways close to home.

A huge thank-you to the businesses who opened their doors for leading this important workforce initiative.

We’re celebrating two local powerhouses that help make Dyersville a hub for innovation, craftsmanship, and community growth!

⚙️ Dyersville Die Cast — Established in 1970, this family-founded company has grown into one of North America’s leading non-automotive die-cast manufacturers. Known for custom die casting and value-added processes, they continue to carry on the Ertl family legacy of quality manufacturing with their sister company, Scale Models Toys. We’re excited to share that the newly paved trails are now ready for everyone to enjoy — offering a great space for employees, families, and the community to walk, jog, or take a quick break outdoors.

A big win for both local businesses and wellness in Dyersville! 🌳✨

✨ Session 4 of Welcome U: New Resident Program ✨

Our final session was a true celebration of community, culture, and connection! 💙

🛻 We kicked off with a charming wagon tour through downtown Dyersville, led by Christy Deutmeyer of the Dyer-Botsford House. Her storytelling brought the rich history of our town to life.
⛪ A stop at the stunning St. Francis Xavier Basilica left us in awe of its architecture and spiritual beauty.
🎬 Creativity flowed at the If You Build It Exhibit, where hands-on displays sparked curiosity and tied back to the Field of Dreams Movie Site.
🍽️ To top it all off, Becca Miller and Jon Scherbring treated us to a flavorful journey at the newly opened English Pub, with delicious dishes that showcased their menu items.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this session — and the entire Welcome U: Dyersville Campus program — so memorable. 🌟 Here’s to new beginnings and deeper roots in Dyersville! 🌳🏡

As we get ready for the Fall Graduation, we look back on Welcome U Session 3, it was one for the books! 📚✨

We dove into the heart of Dyersville and felt the warm welcome everywhere. Dawn Schrandt at the James Kennedy Public Library showed how it’s more than books—it's a place to learn, connect, and grow. 📖🤝 Amanda Schwartz brought the energy with volunteer opportunities at the National Farm Toy Museum and a tour of Total Fitness Rec Center (we were tempted to hop on a treadmill!). 💪🏽🎟️

Then it was off to Dyersville Comics & Games, where Josh Wernimont turned fun up a notch—games, laughs, and new friends all around. 🎲😄 We capped it off with a tasty meal from Chad’s Pizza. 🍕

Nights like these remind us how special this community is—and how lucky we are to share it with new residents. 💙🏡
