Scattered thunderstorms will develop Monday and Tuesday, with potential for a few severe storms each afternoon and evening. The highest threat of severe storms on Monday will be from the Palmer Divide eastward across the adjacent plains, while Tuesday's threat (depending on cloud cover and heating) could shift across most of the I-25 Corridor and plains of northeast Colorado. Large hail, damaging winds, and even a couple tornadoes will be possible. Stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings!

The start of the week brings another warm day across the region, with many near to above seasonal values. Along with that, isolated showers and storms return tomorrow, a couple of which may become strong to severe.

05/31/2026

Storms will increase in coverage tomorrow afternoon across the eastern plains. A couple of these storms may become strong to severe as they push to the east/northeast. If a storm becomes more organized, large hail and strong winds would be the primary hazards.

05/31/2026

Another warm and dry day is expected across southern Colorado today. While warm conditions continue Monday, thunderstorm chances begin to increase, with wetter conditions in place by midweek.

05/31/2026

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Monday afternoon across portions of the plains, with hail and damaging winds the main risks at this time.

05/30/2026

Tomorrow brings a quiet weather day to the region. Dry conditions with near to slightly above seasonal temperatures are expected for south central and southeastern Colorado.

05/30/2026

Outside of a few thunderstorms across the central mountains this afternoon, mainly dry and warm weather is expected this weekend. Thunderstorm chances increase once again early next week.
