Last night was one of those evenings that reminds us exactly why community matters. đź’š

The Eagan Community Foundation was honored to celebrate 124 scholarship recipients alongside their families, teachers, donors, volunteers, and community supporters at our 2026 Scholarship Dessert Social and Awards Celebration.

This year, together, we awarded a record-breaking $157,025 in scholarships to local students as they take the next step into college, careers, military service, and beyond.

But beyond the dollars, last night was really about something bigger:
✨ students feeling seen
✨ donors investing in the future
✨ generations connecting
✨ and an entire community cheering young people on

To our scholarship donors: thank you for believing in students and helping make Eagan a better place to live, learn, work, and play for all.

To the Class of 2026: we are so proud of you. Wherever life takes you next, know your community is cheering you on. đź’š

Our community’s future is sitting down right now writing scholarship essays. And we need thoughtful neighbors to help read them.

We’re looking for volunteer essay readers to review and score applications from local students. It’s flexible, meaningful work you can do on your own schedule — and it directly impacts who receives scholarships this year. Go through our short orientation this year - review essays this year and for years to come!

If you’ve been looking for a steady, meaningful way to show up for Eagan, this is it.

Eagan Business Friends - The Minneapolis Foundation has just launched the grant portal for their Economic Response Fund for businesses that have been impacted by Operation Metro Surge in MN. Funds are available state-wide...not just for Minneapolis.

Community doesn’t happen by accident — it’s built by people who care. 💚 The Eagan Community Foundation exists to connect that care with real community needs.

Board service is one way to help shape the community we want to live in — and turn care for community into meaningful, long-term impact. 🌱

If you’ve ever felt called to help shape Eagan’s future, this is the moment to lean in. We currently have several board openings and would love to connect.

🏠 Rent doesn’t wait — and we’re hearing from neighbors who need help.

The Eagan Community Response Fund is designed to help neighbors navigate urgent, short-term challenges. While this fund supports a range of needs, housing stability is a priority at this moment.

If you’re looking for a way to show up for your neighbors during a complicated time, this is one place to start.

Every gift matters - thank you for showing up!

We have some critical gaps in volunteers for our annual Super Bagging fundraiser + community awareness event this Saturday and Sunday (Feb 7-8). Especially in Lakeville & Burnsville - we need about 100 more volunteers. Can you help?

We’ll be at Cub Foods bagging groceries for tips. Every dollar raised goes directly to providing fresh, healthy food for local families in Dakota County!

This is a fantastic volunteer opportunity for kids, families, and groups - it’s easy, fun, and makes a big impact in just a 2 hour shift.
