Escorting children to school. Delivering groceries. Being a constitutional observer. Visibly protesting injustice shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. That isn't partisanship; it is the truest expression of a community's values in the face of persecution. It happened all across Minnesota during the height of Operation Metro Surge including right here in Eagan; I know because my family and I were there.

Gov. Tim Walz signed a bill into law aimed at preventing the sexual grooming of children. Championed by a former student, the bill passed with rare unanimous bipartisan support in a divided Legislature.
