We've received reports of a misleading "Town of Eagar billing" notice circulating in our community.

This letter may look official and urgent, claiming to be sent from the Town of Eagar Planning and Zoning department and demanding immediate action. It includes phrases like
"IMMEDIATE RESPONSE NEEDED"
"FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU"
Threats of financial liability if you don't call right away
⚠️ THIS IS A SCAM / MISLEADING SOLICITATION

The Town of Eagar:
❌Does NOT send billing notices via email
❌Does NOT require you to pay ANY tees via wire transfer
❌Is NOT affiliated with these companies

👉🏼 What to do:
🔺Do NOT call the number listed or attempt a wire transfer
🔺Do NOT provide personal or financial information
Shred and discard the notice
🔺Report suspicious mail to local authorities it needed

These notices are designed to create panic and pressure you into responding quickly.

Springerville Ranger District

Size: Approximately 0.10 acres
Location: Near Whiting Homestead, west of Eagar, AZ
Full suppression strategy

Resources enroute include 1 helicopter, 1 IHC, 2 engines, along with local Fire Department resources.

Current fire activity: Low rate of spread; doesn't constitute any control problems, per the helicopter.
