The staples in Bailey’s head and stomach will be removed soon. This is progress!!

Modifications will need to be made to the home. A walk-in shower is too expensive - unless anyone has some great ideas. For now, grab bars will be installed, and a wide shower chair has been ordered so that she can slide across the chair instead of trying to climb over the side of the tub.

This is all so scary and eye-opening to safety concerns beyond that of an infant! Bailey’s head is protected by a helmet and that is still no guarantee of preventing further injury.

Bailey is mentally preparing for the surgery to reattach the piece of skull that has been “hibernating” in her tummy. Please pray for her anxieties to be soothed and for wisdom and precision for her healthcare team!

My niece Bailey is fighting every day to
recover from this horrific accidental fall. We are looking at months in the hospital and my sister-in-law has exhausted her paid leave. Anything you can give makes a big impact and is appreciated.

For many of us, we celebrate a new year with forgiveness and cleansing of the past with the hope of a new beginning.

However, tonight a wonderful and bright young girl carries tragedy into this new year. Her parents are two wonderful and caring medical professionals who have battled the pandemic in the hospital giving their all for many.

Neither their daughter, nor they, deserve this hardship and I ask you to give a little for those who have given a lot. I have shared the link below.
