We would like to share with our families that Mr. Rios has accepted a new position as Principal of Purcell Elementary. While we are sad that he will be leaving Pinewood, we are so excited for him and this new adventure. Mr. Rios has poured into our students, staff and families serving as AP for the last four and a half years and we are so grateful for the impact that he has made. We know that he is going to do amazing things at Purcell and we are thankful Pinewood was a stepping stone to set him up to be a successful Principal.

Help us congratulate Mr. Rios, this is much deserved.

Seven years ago, Armando received the Fancelli Family Future Leaders Scholarship to Polk State at his 5th grade ceremony. This year, he is graduating with high honors and will be using the scholarship next year. We are so proud of him and all of our former panthers graduating this year! Way to go Armando!

Just a reminder about awards.
1. Only 5th grade students are dressed out for awards. Everyone else needs to be in uniform.
2. Adults MUST have a government issued ID with a picture to enter campus.
3. Balloons and other celebration items cannot be taken home on the bus.
