On August 2, 2026, the Eagle Lake Police Department responded to a reported burglary at the Eagle Lake Municipal Golf Course, located at 210 Golf Course Road. Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the individuals responsible for this offense.
During the investigation, officers determined that multiple golf cart storage units had been unlawfully entered. Several personal golf carts were removed from the storage areas, and additional property was damaged during the incident. It is believed that there are multiple suspects responsible.
Police are requesting assistance from residents and businesses with surveillance cameras, doorbell cameras, or other security recording systems. Officers are seeking video footage from the early morning hours of August 2, 2026 between the hours of 3:00 AM to 6:00 AM that may have captured the suspects, stolen golf carts, suspicious vehicles, or other activity related to this investigation.
Golf carts connected to this investigation were recovered or reported to have been observed in the confirmed following areas:
Intersection of North Street and Stephens Street
600 Block of Melody Lane
200 Block of FM 3013 East
North McCarty Avenue
West Waverly Road
100–1500 blocks of East State Street
