Hello My Friends in Eagle Mountain! It would be REALLY helpful for me if you would take a few minutes to complete this survey! If you’ve already taken it, please please encourage your spouse or significant other to take it as well. The more responses we have, the better we will be able to tailor our community programs.

Eagle Mountain City, in conjunction with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office Eagle Mountain Division, is collecting information about mental health risk and protective factors through the Eagle Mountain Family Environment Survey. Parents or guardians of children ages 5-18 living and/or attending school in Eagle Mountain are encouraged to set aside 5-7 minutes to complete the questionnaire.
Your answers will be kept anonymous and will be used to shape community programs over the coming years. Complete the survey by clicking on the following link:

Communities That Care (CTC) is an organization that we in Eagle Mountain partner with in an effort to reduce youth problems.
A recent article in Your Teen Magazine describes five key protective strategies for children and teens to feel connected to their families and withstand negative peer pressure. These strategies have been found by prevention science researchers (the developers of CTC) to prevent risky behavior and promote healthy behaviors among youth. In the Communities That Care process, we call this the Social Development Strategy.

Read the article here:

There are proven ways to prevent risky behavior while promoting healthy behaviors—and the bottom line to raising healthy children is strong relationships.
