☀️ SCHOOL’S OUT & SUMMER IS HERE ☀️

That means more kids are outside riding electric scooters, e-bikes, and electric motorcycles throughout Eagle Mountain.

These rides can be a LOT of fun — but they also come with real responsibilities and important new Utah laws parents and riders need to know.

We want kids and families to enjoy summer safely while helping prevent avoidable crashes and injuries.

You’ll continue to see deputies out in the community this summer, focusing on education, outreach, and proactive safety enforcement.

Please help us keep our citizens safe and educate the public on some very important law changes that are coming into effect on May 6th.

Morning Utah County!

The State passed a new E-Bike law that goes into effect next week, on May 6th. Here is a great flyer made up by one of our Deputies to try to help get some information out there. After all, knowledge is power right?

If you want to read the full Bill, it's labeled H.B.0381, and it can be found here: le.utah.gov/Session/2026/bills/introduced/HB0381.pdf

If you live inside a city and want to know their specific ordinances regarding E-bikes, I would suggest you reach out to them and ask.

When you hit the trails, remember to use good trail etidquette! Share the trails, be prepared, and be kind!
