A long but fun weekend at Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival. It was a great learning experience.
The judge gave a lot of great commentary on the sheep placings.
Showed over a dozen sheep. We took Romanovs, Finn, Gotland, & my Awassi x ram.
Sold lots of my leashes & halters.
Got to meet new folks, and see friends.

We will be at Oregon Flock and Fiber Festival Oct 18-19. At the Albany OR expo, in the sheep barn.
Have Finn, & Romanov lambs looking for new pastures, plus a booth filled with all my handmade gear available.

OFFF is coming up fast! (Oregon flock & Fiber festival) Oct 18-19 at the Linn county expo in Albany OR
We have 17, I think, sheep entered to show.
Will have lots of nice lambs available, and have a booth set up selling my halters, leashes, slip leads, etc.

Ewes have all had cdt/been dewormed.

Morrit ewe heavy bred to Icelandic. 2️⃣2️⃣5️⃣

Blackie: ewe with BFL/Gotland ram lamb 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣

Pongo: Black piebald bred ewe. Should be bred to one of my Finn rams 2️⃣2️⃣5️⃣

Coco: Grey/Moorit ewe. Bred to finn ram 2️⃣2️⃣5️⃣

Little B: Black badger ewe with 1/2 finn ewe lamb. Lamb will be registered F1 finn. 2️⃣7️⃣5️⃣

Bingo: Black badger ewe. Has two lambs, black ram lamb, black piebald ewe lamb by Finn ram.
Lambs can be registered F1 Finn.

Our new Handsome Ram General Lee.
He is a registered 96% Wenslydale.
They are a rare breed in the us that have long locks of high quality wool.
I am very excited to have him.
Over the summer I acquired a Wenslydale cross ewe, and several Lincoln long wool ewes.
I really like the long wool breeds.
I’ve decided to cut down on some of my others as I move focus more towards the rare breeds for fiber & showing.

I will still be raising the Finn, Romanovs, I have some Gotlands now too, the few dairy ewes, and a handful of hair x.

These should make great replacement ewes, all but 1 come from our lines, with great maternal instincts.

All but 1 are twins, or triplets.

These were my keepers. Only offering as my friend passed away, and Im caring for her 50+ extra sheep until her family figures things out.

I need to cut down.
