Getting ready for the first day of school? Make sure MyRide K-12 is part of your back-to-school checklist!

The MyRide K-12 app helps Eagle Point School District families stay connected to their student’s transportation information. Families can track their student’s bus in real time, view assigned bus stops and routes, check scheduled pickup and drop-off times, and receive notifications about delays or other important transportation updates.

Transportation information may change as routes are finalized, so be sure to check the app again before the first day of school.
Download MyRide K-12 today through Google Play or the Apple App Store and make sure your student is connected.

Family Orientation Day is a non-school day for elementary students and provides dedicated time for teachers to meet with families and students in their classrooms. The goal is to start the year strong by building relationships, communicating classroom expectations and routines, sharing Essential Standards, discussing safety procedures and how students will get home each day, and creating a strong partnership for student success.

Orientation Day Sessions:

Session 1: 8:30–9:15 a.m.
Session 2: 9:30–10:15 a.m.
Session 3: 10:30–11:15 a.m.
Lunch
Session 4: 12:00–12:45 p.m.
Session 5: 1:00–1:45 p.m.
Session 6: 2:00–2:45 p.m.
Multiple sessions are available so families can visit multiple teachers and choose the times that work best for their needs. Each session will include 30 minutes of information from the teacher followed by a 15-minute Q&A or individual Meet and Greet.

This is a Title 1 Family Event. We look forward to welcoming our Hillside families and starting the new school year together!

False Information Circulating Eagle Point Community: August 20, 2026

Dear EPSD9 Families,

We want to make you aware of a situation occurring in our community today.

We have received reports that an individual is going door to door sharing false information and spreading rumors related to Hillside Elementary School. Please know that the information being shared is not true.

Local law enforcement has been notified, and EPSD9 staff have been alerted to the situation. We will remain in close communication with law enforcement throughout the day and will continue to monitor the situation closely. Please know HES students are safe inside the building with staff. We will provide further information if the situation changes.

We understand that false information and rumors can cause unnecessary concern for families and community members, and we are sorry for the worry this situation may cause. We encourage families to rely on official communication from Eagle Point School

District 9 and local law enforcement for accurate information.

Ready to hit the mat this summer? Eagle Point Youth Wrestling's Future Eagle Summer League is a great opportunity for boys and girls of all skill levels to learn new techniques, build confidence, stay active, and have fun!

Open to incoming kindergarteners through outgoing 5th graders within Eagle Point School District. Join us for sign-ups on July 1 & July 3 from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at the EPHS Downstairs Wrestling Room, then get ready for a summer of learning, teamwork, and competition.
