We had an AMAZING Red Ribbon week visit sponsored by the Alaska National Guard Counter Drug Support Program. Staff from the Anchorage Airport Police and Fire, DEA, our school SRO, local Fire Station 11, American Lung Association and others came to share a Drug Free message with our students. Students were treated to tours of fire engines, police cars, SWAT vehicles and had the opportunity to ask questions. We are thankful for this opportunity!

October was Principal Appreciation Month and on Halloween I was treated to an appreciation walk through the Optional Hallway with all the students in the Optional Program standing on each side. I was presented this BEAUTIFUL wall hanging where each student decorated a popsicle stick and together created this masterpiece! I couldn't love it more! Thank you for making me feel so special!
