It’s another edition of Paramedics & Pets!

They say, “find a guy who looks at you like…”

Because there’s nothing like a lap full of puppies, as our paramedic Teddy found out. There are three members of the 12-puppy litter left at Eagle County Animal Shelter, just waiting for their forever home.

Ludo, Pepe the Prawn and Doozer–aptly named, as they’re all muppets–are all two (almost three) month old Terrier/Border Collie mixes that came all the way from Utah with their mama, Sweetums. These puppies are playful, social and super sweet, always up for a cuddle or a bit of exploring. These pups will need people who are ready to help them learn to be good dogs through consistent positive reinforcement, socialization, enrichment and plenty of patience (because, puppies). If these early days are any indication, these gorgeous puppies will grow up to be amazing companions!

Miss Meeka is still patiently waiting for her forever family to come and meet her!

This senior girl certainly doesn't act her age - she is spry, bouncy, and ready for fun! Meeka loves to play with toys, has gone on a couple of nice jogs with our shelter volunteers, and is sure to always get the last word in with her adorable little awoo-woos.

Meeka is going to be a lovely companion for someone who wants a playful dog who also knows when it is time to chill and relax for a while. She is super easy-going and is ready to start her next adventure with a family who is going to love her through her golden years!

Sweetums is a total goofball who loves to run and play! This gal can’t wait to find her new best friend who will take her on all sorts of adventures!

Update: No one came forward to claim this silly boy. His new name is Spot (short for Spoticus) and he will be looking for a loving new home soon! Keep an eye out for more updates on this cutie!
