In Memoriam: General Darrell Manning

It is with great respect and sadness that we remember General Darrell Manning, the founding president of the Eagle-Garden City Rotary Club and a steadfast member of our Rotary family.

General Manning exemplified the ideals of Rotary through his commitment to service, leadership, and community. He understood that leadership is not simply a position of authority, but a responsibility entrusted to those who are called to serve others.

Darrell generously shared his wisdom and perspective, particularly regarding the stewardship and responsibilities that accompany elected leadership. His counsel reflected the character of a true servant leader, one who understood that the privilege of leadership carries with it an obligation to act with integrity, humility, and purpose.

It was a privilege and an honor to know Darrell and to serve alongside him. His contributions to Rotary, to our community, and to the lives of those he touched will endure as an important part of his legacy.

May we honor his memory by continuing the work of service that he so deeply valued.

Rotary Ball Drop Raffle @ Eagle Fun Days
When: Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 4:00pm

When ball-drop tickets are sold they are randomly assigned to an available ball number. Each ball is then placed into the ball drop bin. On the day of the event, our friends at the Eagle Fire Department will carry the drop bin with all the numbered balls to the top of the ladder truck parked at the....
