We have received reports that individuals in our area are receiving fraudulent letters and emails, similar to the example in the photos below. Scammers are falsely claiming that residents owe money to the Eagle Planning Commission.

Remember to never send money or share personal data in response to an unverified demand. Official emails come from verified government organization domains, not generic web accounts. Please watch for strange payment method requests, such as wire transfers, cryptocurrency, or gift cards.

If you receive a suspicious message or think you may have shared information with a scammer, please report it to local law enforcement.

REMINDER: All property owners and/or occupants are responsible for keeping sidewalks clear of obstructions and tree branches at least 8 feet above public walkways.

Keeping sidewalks clear is vital--especially for children walking to school, parents with strollers, and people with mobility devices.
