The Eagles Fire Company and its members send our condolences to the Picture Rocks Fire Company and the family and friends of Bert.

It is with profound sadness the membership of Picture Rocks Volunteer Fire Company announce the unexpected death of one of our own. Roberta “Bert” Phillips has dedicated countless hours to the community through the fire company as an EMT, ambulance captain, secretary, and numerous fundraising committees. Bert was always working behind the scenes ordering and preparing food for our fundraisers.

Our hearts go out to Bert’s family and friends during this difficult time.

A HUGE THANK YOU FROM THE EAGLES MERE FIRE COMPANY!

Thank you to everyone who came out and supported our carnival!

It was truly special to see familiar faces, new friends, and especially 3rd-generation families returning to continue their Eagles Mere traditions. Watching this event bring generations together is what makes it so meaningful year after year.

We did miss some of our regular local friends and neighbors who couldn’t make it this time—you were noticed and missed, and we hope to see you next year.

Every ticket, game, meal, donation, and helping hand directly supports our volunteers and helps us continue serving Eagles Mere and the surrounding communities when it matters most.

Thank you for standing behind our fire company and keeping this tradition strong.
