It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of retired Eagletown Volunteer Firefighter Danny Standridge, after his long battle with cancer. Danny served the Eagletown community for many years. Even in his final days, Danny still took pride in his service to the department. Please be in prayer for his family and those that cared for him during his battle. Rest in peace Danny.

This afternoon, we assisted Broken Bow Fire Department on a chicken house fire near Red Fox Road. The chicken house was a total loss but the other houses were protected and the fire was contained to the house. Thankfully, there were no birds in the facility.

We appreciate the “note of thanks” and gift that we received from a young lady before we left. What might seem as a small token of appreciation, is a big deal to us. Thank you from the Eagletown Volunteers.
