The Library has legal materials available for general interest, for knowledge about legal transactions, for educational information and includes materials designed for use by the layperson.

The Court House and the Law Library will be closed on December 25 for Christmas Day and January 1 for New Year's Day.

Paperwork allowing Pennsylvanians to file for protection from abuse is now available in a variety of languages, the state Supreme Court announced. More than a dozen forms involved in the PFA process are now available online in Arabic, Simplified Chinese, French and Spanish, as well as six other widely spoken non-English languages.

The forms include the initial petition for protection from abuse and weapons attachment, the notice of hearing and order, the temporary protection order form, service affidavit, the final protection order form, and the notice to vacate and subpoena form.

The change includes the four additional forms only used in Philadelphia courts, which use a different filing and serving process.

The first complete revision of the original text and supplements to "Snitzer Pennsylvania Eminent Domain" in over 50 years has been received by the Library. We have both REFERENCE and CIRCULATING copies.

The Montgomery County Court House and the Law Library will be closed Thursday November 24 for Thanksgiving Day. We will be open regular hours on Friday November 25.
