True leadership is not measured by the badge on your chest, the title before your name, or the authority you carry. It is measured by the lives you touch, the people you protect, the example you set, and the faith that keeps you standing when the road ahead is unclear.

Today, we recognize Chief Charles Atkins—a leader whose service represents faith, courage, integrity, humility, and commitment to community.

Congrats to our very own Patrick Washington and Jonathan Atkins

Searcy School District was honored to host the Arkansas D.A.R.E. Officer Training this week! It was a privilege to welcome law enforcement officers from across the state as they prepared to make a positive impact in schools and communities through the D.A.R.E. program.

We are grateful to these officers for helping students make safe and responsible choices, build confidence, and develop strong decision-making skills. Thank you for being at Searcy Schools!

On behalf of the Earle Police Department, we are proud to attend advanced training at the Arkansas State Crime Laboratory focused on DNA analysis, fi****ms examination, and critical forensic investigative techniques.

Continuing education and professional development are essential in modern law enforcement. By strengthening our knowledge and understanding of forensic science, we are better equipped to conduct thorough investigations, support victims, pursue justice, and serve the citizens of Earle with integrity and professionalism.

The Earle Police Department remains committed to learning, growth, and utilizing every available resource to protect our community and build stronger, safer neighborhoods.

As you celebrate, we ask you to be mindful of what truly matters: your safety and the safety of those around you. Every decision you make tonight—whether it’s how you travel, who you ride with, or how you look out for your friends—has the power to ensure that everyone makes it home safely. No memory is worth a life, and nothing matters more to us than seeing each of you return home at the end of the night.

Celebrate big, but celebrate wisely. Look out for one another. Be the reason your friends stay safe.
