Class of 2020! I am so proud of each and everyone you! You will not be forgotten at Earle High School. I charge you to not forget the memories you made at EHS, the impact you made in the lives of others, and the impact that others have made in your lives. Please take the lessons you have learned and apply them to your lives as you go out into world. Remember, life is what you make of it, so make it the best! I know you will go and do great things, and it has been an honor serving as your principal.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Commencement Ceremony will be held live on Facebook. The administration, faculty, and staff of Earle High School and Earle School District would like to recognize the hard work and dedication of the “Class of 2020” in completing the requirements for graduation set by the Arkansas Division of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). The West Memphis-Marion (AR) Alumni Chapter is now accepting applications for college scholarships from qualified minority high school seniors who live in Crittenden, Cross, Phillips, St. Francis and Mississippi counties. The scholarships are typically one-year, from $500 - $1,000 non-renewable. Scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, community service activities, and financial need.

Eligible applicants must plan to enroll full-time at an accredited college/university. Applicants must have a minimum cumulative 2.75 GPA on a 4.0 scale and be active in community service activities. We have moved the Completion Date to allow more students the opportunities to apply for the scholarships due to Covid-19. The Scholarship Application is attached to this email.

THE PROCEDURE IS AS FOLLOWS:



· Complete and return the attached application and include all required materials.



· The application must be complete and postmarked no later than May 15, 2019.



· Scholarship winners will be notified no later than May 31, 2019.
