The City of Earle invites all citizens to attend our next City Council Meeting on May 19, 2026, at 6:00 PM. This meeting is more than a gathering — it is an opportunity for the community to come together, share ideas, address concerns, and help shape the future of our city.

Strong communities are built when citizens stay informed, engaged, and involved. Your voice matters, your presence matters, and your participation helps move Earle forward. Together, we can continue building a city rooted in progress, unity, accountability, and opportunity for every resident.

We encourage all residents to attend and be part of the conversations that impact our neighborhoods, families, businesses, and future generations. Positive change begins when a community stands together with purpose and vision.

Let’s continue working together to make Earle stronger, safer, and brighter for all. We look forward to seeing you there.

To the Dedicated Officers of the Earle Police Department and Law Enforcement Officers Across America,

During National Police Week, observed from May 10 through May 16, 2026, we pause as a nation to honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of the men and women who wear the badge with pride and integrity.

Every day, police officers step into uncertainty so that our communities may live in safety, peace, and hope. You answer calls in moments of fear, protect families during times of crisis, stand between danger and the innocent, and carry burdens that many will never fully understand. Your work is not simply a profession — it is a calling rooted in service, strength, and sacrifice.

To the officers of the Earle Police Department, your dedication to protecting and serving your community does not go unnoticed. You are guardians of peace, role models for future generations, and a vital foundation within the community you serve. The presence of law enforcement brings reassurance to neighborhoods, stability during difficult times, and hope when challenges arise.

Communities thrive because of officers who are willing to stand watch while others sleep, respond while others retreat, and serve even when the task is difficult. Behind every badge is a human being with family, dreams, emotions, and a heart committed to making a difference. Your sacrifice deserves not only recognition during this week, but gratitude every single day.

As we honor those who continue to serve and remember the fallen heroes who gave their lives in the line of duty, may we never forget the profound impact law enforcement has on the strength and unity of our nation.

“The badge is not just a symbol of authority — it is a symbol of courage, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to protect others, even at great personal cost.”

Thank you for your bravery.
Thank you for your resilience.
Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and your commitment to keeping our communities safe.

May God continue to protect every officer, strengthen every family, and guide every department across this nation.

With deepest respect and appreciation,

For over 21 years, Mrs. Rosie Thomas has faithfully served as a crossing guard, volunteer, and substitute teacher—showing up with a heart full of care and a spirit rooted in purpose. She didn’t just help students cross the street; she helped guide them safely through life with kindness, wisdom, and consistency.

To students, she was a protector.
To parents, a trusted presence.
To the community, a true example of servant leadership.

“Service is the rent we pay for the privilege of living on this earth.”
“Greatness is not found in titles, but in the lives you touch every day.”
📖 “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26
📖 “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9
📖 “The generous will prosper; those who refresh others will themselves be refreshed.” — Proverbs 11:25

Mrs. Rosie Thomas, your years of quiet strength, protection, and love have made a lasting mark that cannot be measured. You are the heartbeat of the community and a reminder that true impact comes from showing up, serving well, and loving people deeply. 💙

On this World Lupus Day, we pause to honor the warriors whose battles were seen and unseen. We remember the beautiful souls we have lost to lupus — lives filled with love, strength, dreams, and courage that will never be forgotten. Their memories live on in every fight for awareness, every prayer for healing, and every voice that refuses to let this disease define a life.

Today, we also stand beside those still fighting. The fighters who wake up every day carrying pain that many cannot see. The mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, friends, and survivors who continue pushing forward despite exhaustion, fear, and uncertainty. Your strength is extraordinary. Your life matters. Your story matters. And your fight inspires more people than you know.

Lupus may attack the body, but it can never destroy the spirit of those determined to survive it. This day is not only about awareness — it is about love, remembrance, resilience, and hope. We honor every scar, every setback, every victory, and every life touched by this disease.

To those we lost:
Your light still shines. Your courage still echoes. Your legacy still moves us forward.

To those still fighting:
Keep going. Keep believing. Keep living. You are not alone in this battle.

“Sometimes courage is not loud. Sometimes courage is simply waking up and facing another day.”

“Lupus did not choose the weak. It chose warriors.”

“The strongest people are not those who never struggle, but those who continue fighting even when the battle is hard.”

“Even on the darkest days, hope is stronger than fear.”
“Your illness does not define your worth, your purpose, or your power.”

On this World Lupus Day, we wear purple with pride, remembrance, and determination. We fight for awareness. We fight for better treatments. We fight for a cure. And above all, we fight for each other. 💜
