Since I've received questions about our local food assistance options recently, I would like to remind everyone of the resources available in our community.

The Earlham Food Pantry is open on the first Wednesday of each month from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. To schedule an appointment to shop at the pantry, please call or text 515-758-0001. The pantry is located at the Earlham Friends Church, across from Hometown Market. Food donations can be left at Hometown Market.

Additionally, the Mobile Food Bank, sponsored by the Food Bank of Iowa, operates on the third Monday of each month from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM in front of the Earlham Public Library.

Change of plans! We were going to be open normal hours today but the rain has created some issues for the librarian.

3:00 PM Color Tag will be rescheduled for NEXT Friday the 10th at 3:00PM instead.

So sorry for the inconvenience!!!
Passport appointments are being rescheduled as needed.

🤯 It's not to late to sign up for the Summer Reading Program if you haven't already! 👩🏼‍💼 Work ahead, work behind, doesn't matter as long as you're doing the reading! 📚

Each leaf 🍂 on our reading logs (available at the library front desk) equals 20 minutes. Each bookmark log = 2 hours. You can turn in multiple logs at a time, so don't worry about it if you live out in the country and can't get to town every week. We're very inclusive. Also, reading is reading! Audio-books count! 🔊📖

🚨Adults: One leaf colored= one book! Max of 8 entries for grand prizes! (no weekly prizes for 18+) 🚨
