Greetings all, we have our biggest project to date here, with our new home base for pSyncUs Project, the Volunteer Work Party as well as the Community Stage at the SustainABILITY Preserve. Our new Sponsor, Green in Greene, has the vision of creating a sustainable farm to teach sustainable living by choice and have put aside this magical location with fields, streams, mountains and forest into a place that teaches you how to live and create a sustainable environment. You see environmentalists educating others about renewable sources while they speak from equipment that is powered by diesel. How many people into conservationism that you know have running toilets and leaky faucets? You find piles and piles of garbage on the ground instead of being thrown away or recycled....
This has got to change! You all have been to “Leave no Trace” events
Now it's time for “Leave things Better” events
We envision enough food to be grown year round to feed its volunteer staff, generating enough power to have the utility pay us. We envision the Community Stage having a permanent home here and at all festival grounds, that any person or group can sign up to play at. We picture a place where festivals can be done that are sustainable with zero to little waste. Waste needs to be eliminated from our vocabulary. Instead of porta-potties we should be building compostable toilets.Instead of big ugly square buildings we want domes, tree houses, earthships & starships
By doing festivals and other events as a profit share, we can balance the risk and successes among all involved, everyone that takes part in a project is an investor. As somebody that has worked for many years in many different festivals and events I have personally witnessed people that spend days and weeks preparing the land and doing so much behind the scenes never to be compensated or recognized. Compensation will be negotiated depending upon resources and individual needs. Recognition is based on choice.
