Dacusville Library The Dacusville Community Library is located in the old Dacusville Elementary School library. We are staffed by volunteers and are a non-profit org.

We accept books of any genre, puzzles, DVD's or CD's. Hours: T&Th 10am-6pm, Sat 10am-1pm

Due to the high likelihood of icy conditions on Tuesday, January 27th, the Dacusville library will be closed. It will reopen on Thursday, January 29th, provided roads have improved. Thank you for your continued support.

Mark your calendars for Trick or Treating at the Dacusville Library. October 25, 2025 from 10am - 1pm. There will be candy, books and something from the treasure chest for everyone!

Beginning October 2, 2025 the Pickens County Library System will host story time at the Dacusville Library on the first Thursday of each month at 10am. All are welcome!!

The Dacusville Library is looking for volunteers aged 16 and older. We are open Tues and Thurs 10am - 6pm and Sat 10am - 1pm. We operate with teams of two in four-hour shifts and also assist with the fitness center membership. We are currently experiencing some shortages in filling our shifts and if we cannot fill them properly the library will have to close one or more shifts. Currently we need someone to fill the 2nd shift on Tues and Thurs, 2pm - 6pm beginning in October. If you are interested, please contact Penny Jones at 864-631-5643.

Don't forget to come to our annual yard sale at the Dacusville Library on 8/30 starting at 7am! The center will also host an open house from 10am-1pm so everyone can see what the center has to offer. It will be a great chance to see what Dacusville has to offer the area.
