Pickens County Advocacy Center received their SAFE Designation on Wednesday! Thank you to all of the staff and volunteers at Pickens County Advocacy for going above and beyond for survivors of sexual assault.

Yesterday Amanda White from SC Victim Assistance Network came to present the PCAC Team with our Certificate of Safe Destination for exceptional care to sexual assault victims! We are incredibly grateful to collaborate with awesome partners to make our community safer 🩵

💚May is Mental health Awareness Month! We wanted to take a moment to talk about how mental health and sexual violence can intercross.

🗣️🫂Whatever you are going through do not be frightened to talk about your experiences, you are not alone in this!

🏘️In order to have a healthy community we have to be willing to help out! Let’s support each other not only during an important month like this, but all year long!

🎶Last week was our Song for Survivors event - Out at Heritage Pavilion at Hagood Mill! What a night filled good music, delicious food and cold drinks, and many basket winners all for a great cause! Thank you Tipsy Trails Taps, and Palmetto's Catering & EVENT Center for making sure our guests had everything they needed!
