The Village Street Department will be sweeping streets and completing preparation work, including asphalting, over the next several days in advance of our oil and chip project on Friday, August 7th (weather permitting).

To help our crews complete this work as efficiently as possible, we ask that residents keep vehicles off the street during daytime hours in the days leading up to Friday, August 7th.

NO ON-STREET PARKING WILL BE PERMITTED ON FRIDAY, AUGUST 7th. Any vehicles parked on the street that day will be towed at the owner's expense so the work can be completed safely and without delays.

You may put trash out as usual, by 6:00am, as we anticipate Republic will move through the area ahead of starting on the street.

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we continue making improvements to our streets. If weather causes the project to be rescheduled, we will provide an update.

Help Keep East Alton Clean!

A simple step can make a big difference: When preparing your trash for pickup, please remember to bag all household trash before placing it in your trash cart. Bagging loose trash helps prevent items from blowing out of carts and ending up in our streets, yards, and neighborhoods.

Working together, we can help keep East Alton clean and looking its best. Thank you for doing your part!
