Fellow SAL Members,

We are still processing 2023 memberships. As of 9/8 we are 13 renewals short of setting a new detachment membership record. Let’s set the record and get these 13 renewals in ASAP. Your squadron could be the one that sets the record.

As of 9/6 the Detachment of New York and 7 Districts have already met the September 13 10% membership target date for the 2024 membership year. Well done! Next up is the October 18th 25% target date. If you have 2024 renewals in hand please submit them. We compete with other Detachments nationally. We improve our national ranking by getting renewals submitted.

Thanks.
Dusty L Quick, Detachment Membership Chair

The 3rd Monthly Car show was in full swing tonight again at Cassadaga Legion 1280. 80 cars and 11 Motorcycles were in attendence tonight. Weather thankfully cooperated this time. Food sold out, which was a job well done. Thank you all to the Sons and Auxiliary members who helped run it, and we appreciate all the attendees and donations.

Today, Cassadaga Sons of the American Legion had their 2nd car show today at Cassadaga Legion 1280. Sadly the weather influenced the show, only 24 cars today. Then rain moved everyone inside. Not too bad a turn out for the day. Hopefully next month will be brighter and better.
