Last night 5 of our candidates took a major step towards completing their probationary period. Candidate Firefighters Alford, Boyum, Christianson, Krey & Millette graduated from the Anoka County Fire Academy.

This is the result of countless hours of classroom & hands-on training, studying and exams.

The Borstner Family & East Bethel Fire Department Auxiliary hosted a retirement party for Firefighter Borstner last week. The crowd that showed up to congratulate him is a testament to his career. Congratulations again Jeff. Enjoy your well deserved retirement!

👏👏Please join us in congratulating Firefighter Lindsay Madson & Firefighter Mitch Bohlke on passing their MFSCB Instructor 1 exam.

This was the culmination of approximately 44 hours of classroom work plus many hours of study-time and homework. This certification is a prerequisite for the MFSCB Officer 1 class and exam which both staff members will be pursuing next.

We are proud of your accomplisments and are excited that you are taking the next steps in your fire service careers. Keep up the outstanding work. Your community appreciates you! 🚒
