Quaboag Valley Railroaders is an HO scale model railroad club that boasts a 24' x 27' circular style layout with 3 internal peninsulars that offers full viewing from all locations. Our layout has two main lines plus an extensive track layout that provides for multiple train operation plus many switching opportunities. The layout is DCC controlled for simpler and more dynamic operation. The scenery

represents scenes typically found on railroads throughout New England but no specific era which lends to Steam and Diesel operation. We are a family friendly, interactive club encouraging membership for beginner and experienced modelers.

Hi All, we will be having our open house this Saturday July 5th in conjunction with the East Brookfield Independence Day Celebration. We are opening at 11am - 5pm. Route 9 will be closed for the towns parade which starts at 12 noon. We hope to see you there!

We will be opening at 11am and staying open until around 5pm! Note Route 9 will be closed at around 12. Additionally there will be no parking around The Hodgkins Building which is where we are located. Get there early and find a spot along Route 9 and enjoy the festivities! Did you know that East Brookfield is home to a small class 3 shortline railroad called the East Brookfield & Spencer Railroad? This railroads sole purpose is to spot autorack rail cars for unloading under contract with CSX. Two of our members took on this project to recreate this shortlines motive power which consists of the CEFX 3184 and the EBSR 1272.

We have our Monthly Open House this Saturday 09/09 from 12 to 4 pm. Be sure to stop by and see these locomotives in action along with other trains that will be running! Hope to see you there!

Attention all! Our July open house is this Saturday July 8th! It is also East Brookfields Independence Day celebration which means there will be plenty to do! The parade starts at 2pm so plan accordingly as much of route 9 will be closed for the parade. Fireworks are at 930pm if you want to watch the best firework display in the area! Hope to see you there!

Next Saturday October 8th is our monthly open house and some members are already getting trains ready for it. Here's a video of CEFX 3184 pulling 24 auto rack rail cars as it passes a model of the old East Brookfield station that burned down 12 years ago. Enjoy and see you next weekend!

Attention All! We are having our open house on September 17th in conjunction with the East Brookfield 100th Celebration. The parade starts at 0930 am and we will be opening at 8am. Rte 9 will be shut down between 9 and 12 but we'll be open throughout the day. One more announcement John Rezukes Circus train will be visiting us too! We look forward to seeing y'all!!!
