Traffic Maintenance – Temporary Full-Time Summer (Memorial Day – Labor Day)

The Township of East Brunswick is accepting applications for temporary full-time positions in the Department of Public Safety, Special Operations for Traffic Maintenance Summer help.

Will assist full-time Traffic Maintenance workers with the repair of various traffic control devices. This will include maintenance of lights, signs, and painted road markings. Will also assist with traffic control duties during Township special events when necessary.

Qualifications
Applicants must be 18 years of age and be able to pass a stringent background check.

Special Requirements
This is a seasonal full time position requiring work from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Miscellaneous Information
It is the policy of the Township of East Brunswick to provide equal opportunity in its employment on the basis of merit and fitness and without discrimination because of race, religion, color, sex, political affiliation, national origin, physical or mental disability, marital status, age or military service. As per the State of New Jersey, if you begin your employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. Branch Collection

Branches are collected separately from the regular scheduled solid waste collection.

For Curbside collection of branches
1. Call the Office of Recycling, 732-390-6984 to be placed on the collection list. Submit your information by Friday before the third week of the month to be placed on the schedule.

2. Tie and bundle branches. Bundled branches must be no longer than 4 feet long and weigh no more than 50 lbs.

3. Branches do not go into Biodegradable bags or containers.

Residents may also drop off unbundled branches at the Recycling Center,
Monday through Saturday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
- East Brunswick Residents ONLY - proper ID required

Mayor Brad Cohen, Township Council and Administration will be hosting Welcome to the Township of East Brunswick on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at 7pm at the Community Arts Center, 721 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.

This will be a comprehensive orientation program geared towards new residents but open to everyone. We will have representatives from various township departments, organizations and community groups. Residents will have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about programs, volunteer to serve on township committees, and meet your neighbors.
