PRAB, Inc. PRAB is a comprehensive human services organization in New Brunswick, NJ. We partner with Central NJ PRAB is a “one-stop shop” for individuals and families.

Incorporated in 1971, the Puerto Rican Action Board (PRAB) is a comprehensive human services organization with its headquarters in New Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. We are the primary institution in Central New Jersey that provides diverse bilingual/multicultural services to the entire region through our 11 sites in Middlesex County. Since 2009, we have been the Community Action Agency for Middlesex County West. We were founded by a group of Puerto Rican/Latino volunteers in 1969, and have since grown to serve the region’s rapidly diversifying tapestry of White, African-American, African, Asian, Latin American, and other residents. We employ a program approach of service, development, and action that helps people identify their assets and abilities, and strengthen themselves, their families, and the community at large. We do this alongside our partners and collaborators, consisting of individuals, families, businesses, community-serving organizations, and public and elected officials. PRAB is proud to manage an annual agency budget of over $13 million. We have a 12-member board of elected officials, and private-sector and community leaders, which brings decades of experience and contributions from their chosen fields. Our staff team of nearly 200 members are multicultural, multilingual, interdisciplinary, socially conscious professionals. Our management team fosters a culture of collaboration, creative problem-solving, and individual development.
