In support of our local Township Police Officers, we are sharing their fundraising event that is for a good cause. If you cannot make this event, please consider sending them a donation of any amount supporting their Officers who will be cycling all the way to Washington, D.C.

Join Team East Brunswick for a Police Unity Tour Fundraiser at the North Brunswick Pub on Thursday, April 16, at 7 PM.

If you aren't familiar with the Police Unity Tour, it is a powerful annual event where law enforcement officers and survivors cycle hundreds of miles to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Your $20 entrance fee gets you a drink ticket and entry into a door prize drawing, and there's a 50/50 drawing at 9:30 PM.

Join us in helping Team East Brunswick raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty and raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum.

Assistant Chief 850 along with Engine 803 and 805 handled a well involved vehicle fire at the end of Edgeboro Road.

No injuries to any civilians or firefighters.

Engine 803 and 805 just cleared a vehicle fire in the intersection of Route 18 North and Tices Lane.

Earlier this afternoon, all three Fire Districts were alerted for a smoke condition inside of a residence. Assistant Chief 850 arrived to nothing showing from all sides of the residence on the exterior. Further investigation revealed an audible fire alarm and visible smoke within the residence. Assistant Chief 850 confirmed a working fire on the second floor of the residence.

Ladder 801’s crew along with Brookview Chief 900 made entry with water cans and were able to quickly contain the fire to its origin and prevented further spread. Engine 803 stretched a hose line off of the ladder as a precaution.

Thank you to the Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department and Brookview Volunteer Fire Company for their support on scene as well as the East Brunswick Police Department and their dispatchers.

Currently 5 members of EBIFC are in Appleton, Wisconsin conducting the final inspection of Truck Company 809. Members are thoroughly going through the specs and insuring that everything was properly installed. In the next two days, members will operate and flow water to ensure the Truck is in proper working order.

Delivery is expected a few weeks after this inspection to Fire & Safety Services, Ltd. where it will undergo tool mounting and lettering. We would like to thank the tax payers of Fire District 2 for approving the purchase of this much needed apparatus.

As snow continues to fall over the next day, we remind all residents to do your part making our job safer and easier! We ask that you try your best in keeping fire hydrants open and cleared in your neighborhoods in the case of an emergency. Minutes taken away from firefighters shoveling out snow for a water supply can be time consuming and a life safety issue.

We ask everyone to please stay safe, check on your neighbors and never hesitate to call 9-1-1 if you see an emergency! Stay warm!

Chief 800, Assistant Chief 850, Engine 803, Squad 806, Truck 809 and Engine 805 all operated on the scene of this structure fire last night.

EBIFC is just returning to quarters after three consecutive calls around 08:00. Ladder 801, Engine 803, Engine 805 with Assistant Chief 850 in command handled this well involved vehicle fire. No injuries reported.

Thank you Old Bridge Volunteer Fire Department for handling a second assignment while our department operated.

Assistant Chief 850 along with Squad 806 and Engine 805 handled a vehicle fire on the New Jersey Turnpike a few hours ago. No injuries were reported.

With a significant winter storm incoming, we ask all of our residence in East Brunswick help us make our job a little easier in the case of an emergency. Our apparatus will be staffed for the incoming storm, ready for any emergency you may have. We ask everyone please stay safe and do your best to remain off the roads.

Last evening was our annual installation of officers dinner. Firefighter Gomez-Blanco presented our 2025 year in review video.
