Air Force Nation & Humor

This video gives me chills! The Air Force is the only branch to date to stop an entire war after dropping two bombs. The other branches like to talk trash about the Air Force, but they're pretty quiet when they're calling in for close air support and hear the "brrrrt brrrt" of an A-10 coming in to save the day. Just saying

"After being told I wasn't good enough to play college ball, I dedicated my attention to improving my grades. Then, a mentor helped me realize my potential through hard work and dedication, which led to a D2 basketball scholarship. After college, I was offered a spot on the USA Select Basketball team. I turned that down to take on another challenge - the United States Air Force. People often ask me if I would change that decision if I could. My reply is always 'No.' Every day, I take what I learned from the basketball court and implement the same perseverance and discipline into my job."
-- Senior Airman Terell Burgess, 8th Special Operations Squadron, Hurlburt Field.
