Today we had the opportunity to present our annual Citizen of the Year award after the Memorial Day Parade. This year's recipient is Jolene Moody. She goes above and beyond with her time and talent for the productions at the Foltz Community Center. She has directed and performed in the annual Murder Mystery Dinner Theater along with the Madrigal Feast for many years. This along with other commitments to the East Canton community is why she is deserving of this year's award.

Nominations are now being accepted to seek citizens who selflessly contribute their time and labor for the good of the community. Nominees may reside in either the Village of East Canton or Osnaburg Township. Nominations should contain a full explanation as to why the nominee should be honored.

Please return entries to the Foltz Community Center no later than May 4th 2026 by 4 pm.

Our chili cook-off is still on, nothing better than chili on a cold evening. Come out and sample a variety of chili's from hot to mild. Vote on your favorite for a People's Choice award. We will also have awards for best spicy and best mild. Suggested donation is only $7 for all you can eat. Event is from 4-7 at the Foltz Community Center.
