📣School starts on Tuesday! Before Posting Back-to-School Photos, Share Smiles, Not Sensitive Information📸

Social media will light up with proud parents posting first-day photos. It's a heartwarming tradition, but it can also unintentionally expose sensitive information about your child.

Details like school name, grade level, teacher, age, and even physical characteristics may seem harmless, but they can be exploited by predators or scammers targeting your child or family.

It is worth treating everyday details with the same caution you would give to a password or a PIN. Celebrate safely with fun captions, close-ups of backpacks or shoes, or a creative back-to-school sign that does not include identifying information. Let's keep the memories joyful and private.

Today, our staff came together to kick off a new school year with a morning centered on connection, inspiration, and appreciation.

Superintendent Suzanne Cybulla opened the day with stories about the power of connection and a special tribute honoring the life and impact of Pete Fox.

We also celebrated the dedication of our staff with recognition for years of service! 👏

Today, we’re welcoming back the incredible people who make East China School District a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

To our teachers, paraprofessionals, office staff, principals, custodians, food service teams, bus drivers, support staff, and administrators, thank you for everything you do, both seen and unseen, to keep our schools moving forward and our students at the center of all we do.

A new school year brings new opportunities, new challenges, new connections, and plenty of moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We are proud to celebrate the East China IC for earning a Silver Citation in American School & University Magazine’s Educational Interiors Showcase!

This national recognition celebrates excellence in educational interior design and highlights innovative learning environments created to support today’s students and educators.

The Innovation Center was designed with collaboration, creativity, flexibility, and learning in mind! We are so excited to see this unique space recognized on a national level.

This year, for the safety and security of our students, we will not be putting the bus schedule online. Please watch your mailbox for your student’s bus schedule. If you don’t receive a letter by the middle of next week, give transportation a call and we’ll make sure that your student is assigned. Please note, this will NOT include GSRP students. You will get a phone call after home visits. Thank you!
