EYE'S OPENED WIDE BUT SHUT
BLACK MAN & WOMAN THIS IS NOT YOUR INDEPENDENCE DAY ...WAKE UP - PAY ATTENTION - We the people ...G.T.F.O.H.
What, is your 4th of July to the SO-CALLED AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN & WOMAN? I answer; a day that reveals to the black man & woman, more than all other days in the year, the gross injustice and cruelty to which he is the constant victim. Independence Day has never been for people who look like me. There should be no black man or woman celebrating the Fourth of July today. After months of protests over police violence and systemic racism sparked by the killing of George Floyd by a white Minneapolis police officer. My fellow Black man & woman don't you see that we as the black man & woman have NO TRUE FREEDOM and certainly WE HAVE NO JUSTICE OR INDEPENDENCE!
We should be recounting the words Civil Rights giants Frederick Douglass and Malcolm X used to explain that Fourth of July won’t be Independence Day for Black people until the deeply embedded WHITE SOCIAL CONSTRUCT IS REWRITTEN WITH A NEW HUMAN CONSTRUCT. Malcolm X summed up the meaning of the Fourth of July for many African-Americans when he said, “That’s not a chip on my shoulder. That’s your foot on my neck.” He said that in 1965 and given the horrendous death of George Floyd in 2020, it takes on an even more poignant meaning. Read the words of Frederick Douglas which echo so strongly from July 1865 for our people of today in July 2020!
"…Fellow-citizens, pardon me, allow me to ask, why am I called upon to speak here to-day? What have I, or those I represent, to do with your national independence? Are the great principles of political freedom and of natural justice, embodied in that Declaration of Independence, extended to us? and am I, therefore, called upon to bring our humble offering to the national altar, and to confess the benefits and express devout gratitude for the blessings resulting from your independence to us?"
"IN HIS SPEECH “What To The Slave Is Fourth of July?” Frederick Douglas states...
I say it with a sad sense of the disparity between us. I am not included within the pale of glorious anniversary! Your high independence only reveals the immeasurable distance between us and them.
"...Would to God, both for your sake and ours, that an affirmative answer could be truthfully returned to these questions! Then would my task be light, and my burden easy and delightful. For who is there so cold, that a nation’s sympathy could not warm him? Who so obdurate and dead to the claims of gratitude, that would not thankfully acknowledge such priceless benefits? Who so stolid and selfish, that would not give his voice to swell the hallelujahs of a nation’s jubilee, when the chains of servitude had been torn from his limbs? I am not that man. In a case like that, the dumb might eloquently speak, and the "lame man leap as an hart.'"

The rich inheritance of justice, liberty, prosperity and independence, bequeathed by your fathers, is shared by you, not by me. The sunlight that brought light and healing to you, has brought stripes and death to me.This Fourth July is yours, not mine. You may rejoice, I must mourn..."
A STORM IS BREWING - TIME IS TICKING
THE TIME IS COMING WHEN THIS GOVERNMENTAL SOCIALLY CONSTRUCTED SYSTEM AND ALL WHITE PEOPLE WILL SEE AND KNOW THAT WE AS BLACK MEN & BLACK WOMEN WILL NO LONGER TAKE THE POLICE BRUTALITY,MURDER OF INNOCENT BLACK PEOPLE,THE INJUSTICE,THE INEQUALITY AND LACK OF TRUE FREEDOM...THAT WE SICK OF BEING TREATED AS SECOND CLASS, IN A COUNTRY THAT WAS BUILT FROM THE FORCED FREE LABOR OF BLACK SLAVES. WE ARE SICK OF BEING GIVEN THE CRUMBS, WE ARE SICK OF BEING GIVEN PACIFYING LAWS TO MAKE US CONTINUE TO BE MENTAL SLAVES TO YOUR UNJUST WHITE SYSTEM! STOP GIVING US BU****IT LAWS,THAT YOU CONTROL AND CAN CHANGE - GIVE US RECIPROCITY - GIVE US OUR OWN LAND - GIVE US THE BILLIONS AND BILLIONS OF DOLLARS OWED TO US FROM TRICKING US INTO FALSE CITIZENSHIP, LET US BUILD,MANAGE AND GOVERN OUR OWN! THE TIME IS COMING SOON WHEN YOU WILL KNOW WE MEAN "...We want freedom (INDEPENDENCE) by any means necessary. We want justice by any means necessary. We want equality by any means necessary. We don’t feel that in 2020, living in a country that is supposedly based upon freedom or Independence, and supposedly the leader of the free world, we don’t think that we should have to sit around and wait ... FOR WHITE PEOPLE to make up their mind, that our people are due these rights NOW. No, we want it now, or we don’t think anybody should have it EITHER" WE ARE NEW MOVEMENT FAMILY" LED BY THE NATURAL MAN! And we are on the HORIZON that will be geared towards change for our BLACK MEN & WOMEN it will not be one that will just hold hands singing "we shall overcome...we believe that it will need to be by forcing this system to speak to our needs. And if not it should be torn down and rebuilt as a human construct - not as a white social construct" WHEN WE AS BLACK MEN AND WOMEN HAVE TRUE FREEDOM, LIBERTY, EQUALITY TRUE JUSTICE AND PEACE - ONLY THEN WILL IT BE "INDEPENDENCE DAY" for us as the black man & woman of today...
